Quarry Bay, Hong Kong – March 17, 2025 – Prohealth Asia, a leading physiotherapy group in Asia, today announced the opening of its newest clinic in Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to meet the increasing demand for advanced physiotherapy services among Hong Kong’s busy professionals.


Strategically located in Taikoo Place, a central hub for office workers engaged in demanding careers, fitness pursuits, and social activities, the clinic offers a comprehensive suite of services.

The new clinic features seven treatment rooms equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including VALD Performance Testing Technology, Shockwave Therapy, Diagnostic Ultrasound, and Therapeutic Ultrasound. It also houses a dedicated Pilates studio with five reformers and a strength and conditioning gym, enabling highly personalised treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Wendy Hsiao, BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, specialises in musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. She employs manual therapy, exercise prescription, and pain management techniques.   

With experience in both hospital and private clinic settings, Wendy tailors treatments to individual needs. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and exploring new restaurants. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal physical function and well-being.

Brian Chan   

Brian Chan, Master of Clinical Physiotherapy, specialises in musculoskeletal conditions. With degrees from Curtin University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he excels in manual therapy, acupuncture, and exercise rehabilitation. His expertise spans chronic spinal and limb issues.   

Experienced in hospitals and clinics, Brian integrates evidence-based practice. Outside work, he enjoys fitness, travel, and gaming. He finds fulfillment in restoring patient mobility and confidence.   

Dickson Lee

Dickson Lee, BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, specialises in musculoskeletal conditions. He integrates manual therapy, exercise prescription, and pain management techniques. Experienced in both hospital and private clinic settings, he treats diverse conditions from sports injuries to chronic pain.

Angela Leung, BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, is a distinguished registered physiotherapist with a profound dedication to patient well-being. Holding certifications in pelvic health and acupuncture, Angela's expertise spans a broad spectrum, including occupational-related conditions, sports injuries, and women's and men's health.


Her journey began at the University of Nottingham, followed by impactful roles within the NHS and the British EFL Championship, providing her with a robust foundation in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Notably, Angela's entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish two successful clinics in the UK before relocating to Hong Kong, where she joined the Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy centre.


Angela's commitment to patient care is deeply rooted in personal experience. A fractured ankle at 17, coupled with suboptimal physiotherapy, fueled her determination to provide exceptional care. This dedication is evident in her specialised treatment of spinal pain and work-related injuries, where she excels in restoring balance and functionality.


Beyond her clinical prowess, Angela is a fitness enthusiast, embracing weightlifting as a discipline. She also cherishes moments spent with friends, enjoying culinary experiences and shared stories.
