Over the years, our physiotherapists have worked with personal trainers from gyms all over Hong Kong and individual trainers. This list offers recommendations on gyms and personal trainers our physios often get referrals from or refer patients to after they have recovered from physio treatment.
We hope this growing directory will become your starting point to getting back into sports or moving to the next level of your training. It is recommended to complement your training schedule with the physio treatments you are undergoing, so that your personal trainer and physio can sync up the best customised plan for your needs.
We believe that fitness should be broad and encompassing. For one to be truly fit they need to be able to perform any physical task exceptionally well. To achieve this, we follow the mixed modal concept of fitness brought to us by Crossfit. We combine the successful training methodologies of traditional strength training, Olympic Weightlifting, gymnastics and monostructural work of varying length and intensity into a scientifically backed programme.
The CSTL Barbell Club is run by resident Olympic Lifting Specialist Cheryl Haworth. The program is split into 4 week cycles which will take participants through progressions to improve both specific areas of both the snatch and Clean+Jerk as well as general weightlifting. The class is kept to an 12 person limit to ensure that all attendees get enough one on one time with Cheryl in this 90 minute session. Cheryl applies all of her experience of attending numerous training camps with some of the worlds best to each session so that those attending get the authentic Olympic treatment and are ready to smash personal bests.
