Tell us about your background in physiotherapy:
I completed my Physiotherapy degree at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. After qualifying, I spent a year working in the public sector, where I developed a strong interest in Neurology, particularly with Stroke, quadriplegic, and paraplegic cases. The following year, I transitioned into private practice, and in 2019, I took over a clinic with a colleague, running my own private practice. I have a deep passion for helping those with complex chronic pain, having been a chronic pain sufferer myself for 18 years before discovering solutions. Over the years, I have acquired skills in craniosacral therapy, lynotherapy, modern myofascial decompression, and emotional release techniques, which I have successfully used to help many chronic pain sufferers.
What are your interests?
I had a great time Powerlifting and immersing myself in South Africa’s nature and wildlife. Now, I’m excited to meet new friends and embark on new adventures in Hong Kong.
Tell us about a life-changing experience or adventure you’ve been on.
I spent 18 years trapped in chronic pain, feeling like a granny in a young body due to injuries, trauma, and underlying pathology. I searched everywhere—Western and Eastern medicine—but nothing truly helped. It wasn’t until I realigned my entire fascia system that I finally found relief. This journey not only transformed my own life but also led me to help others break free from pain. I now customize solutions for chronic pain sufferers, and some of my patients have even gone on to achieve incredible milestones—like completing long-distance marathons!
